The short version
Students do not make an account, do not type their name into a station, and nothing a student predicts, records or writes is sent to Predict & Prove. There are no ads, no analytics and no tracking on any student page.
Student work stays on the device
A station keeps a student’s predictions, readings, trial table and written explanation only in the open browser tab. It clears when the tab closes, the page reloads, or the student selects Start over. Students can print or save their work as a PDF before they leave.
The only thing a station saves on the device is the color theme choice (Auto, Light or Dark), kept in the browser’s local storage.
What our hosting sees
Pages are served by our hosting provider, Vercel. Like any website, delivering a page involves technical request details such as an IP address and browser type, which the host uses to send the page and keep the service secure. We do not use them to identify students or build profiles. Fonts, pictures and code load from our own site, not from other companies.
Station settings chosen by the station’s own teacher are stored in our database provider, Supabase. No student information is stored there.
Google Classroom and Google Drive
The Share to Classroom link opens Google Classroom in a new tab so a teacher can post the station link. Recording sheets and exit tickets copied to Google Drive live in the teacher’s or school’s Google account. Anything students type into those files stays there and is not sent to Predict & Prove. Google’s own terms and privacy policy apply to those files.
Changes and questions
If this notice changes, the effective date above changes with it. Questions go to the Q&A tab of the Teachers Pay Teachers product page where you got this resource.
